Eid Cookies and Maamoul

Ingredients

  • 200 grams vegetable butter.
  • 1 egg.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon ground mahlab (an aromatic spice).
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  • 1/4 cup corn oil.
  • Gluten-free pastry flour.

Instructions:

Beat the butter at room temperature with the sugar until it dissolves. Then add the egg and oil and beat them together. Add the baking powder and gradually add the pastry flour until the mixture becomes firm. Shape it and bake.
