Qatayef

Ingredients

  • 3 cups warm water.
  • 1 cup corn semolina.
  • 1 cup rice semolina.
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon powdered milk (optional).
  • Orange blossom or rose water, as desired.
  • 1 teaspoon yeast with 1 cup warm water.

Instructions:

Put the water and the rest of the ingredients in the blender, then mix for 3 minutes. Then heat the pan or skillet and pour the mixture on it according to the desired size, taking care of the time needed to avoid burning.
